Penerapan Sistem Informasi Penggajian Berbasis Web untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Pengelolaan Gaji di Restoran Panjang Kota Tanjungpinang

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to implement a web-based payroll information system to improve payroll management efficiency at Restoran Panjang in Tanjungpinang. Prior to the implementation, payroll administration was conducted manually, resulting in time-consuming processes, calculation errors, and difficulties in preparing and storing payroll reports. The implementation methods included partner needs assessment, system preparation, installation and configuration, user training, implementation assistance, and evaluation of the adopted system. The results showed that the payroll information system was successfully implemented and enabled the management of employee data, automated payroll calculation, payroll slip generation, and faster, more organized payroll reporting. In addition, the managers' ability to operate the system improved, leading to more effective, efficient, and well-documented payroll administration. It is recommended that the partner continue system maintenance, periodically update features according to operational needs, and receive continuous technical assistance to ensure the sustainability and optimal utilization of the implemented system.
